Scholarship Opportunities

Most Scholarships are offered for students planning on attending one of the Catholic feeder high schools in the area.  Check back frequently for new scholarship opportunities!

Danny Arnold Memorial Scholarship
The 8th graders met St. Matthew Alumni Sam Baird on Monday, Jan 7th.  Sam
told the kids about his best friend, the late Danny Arnold and a bit about the scholarship being
offered in his name. 
All students are encouraged to apply for the $500 award. The deadline is Feb. 1
and final decisions will be announced in mid-March.  The scholarship is offered to qualified students planning on attending a Catholic high school.
Applications are available in your child's classroom.

 

A new scholarship just added! 
Tom and Mary Kay Mulligan Family Scholarship - $1000 (renewable for 4 years)

The Mulligan family has generously started a new scholarship for a St. Matthew or St. Matthias student attending St. Francis DeSales High School next year. 

 

                   Must be a St. Matthew or St. Matthias student
                   Deadline is February 8, 2013

Central Ohio Association of Catholic Educators (COACE) Scholarship- (1) $500 non-renewable award for a freshman entering a Catholic high school.
An essay is required to be a preliminary candidate for this award.
Each student hoping to win the award should write a 150-200 word essay responding to the following statement: "Choose one of your service or extracurricular activities and explain how you have made a difference."   All entries should be turned in (typed) to Mrs. Booker or Mrs. Ference by 2/18/13.
