Guys Characters:

Overall comments – Color is our friend.  The standard costume is dress slacks, dress shirt, tie, school dress shoes and fedora.  The fedora will be supplied by the school.

We want BOLD colors and designs especially in ties.  Ties should be colors other than Blue and Black.  The only male character that should have a blue tie is Nathan Detroit and Lt Brannigan and cops will wear black ties.

Nathan Detroit:  Dress pants, dress shirt, fedora, and BLUE tie.  Because he is a main character, also a sports coat.

Sky Materson:  Dress pants, dress shirt, fedora and a tie other than blue and black.  Because he is a main character, also a sports coat.

Lt Brannigan and Cops:  Black pants, light blue dress shirt and a black tie.  No fedora or sports coat.

Gamblers or Crap shooters:  Dress pants, dress shirt, tie other than blue or black and fedora.  No sports coat required.

Master of ceremonies at HotBox:  Dress pants, dress shirt, BOWTIE instead of regular tie.  No fedora or sports coat.

Street vendor:  Same costume as gamblers and guys.  Dress pants, dress shirt, tie other than blue or black and fedora.  Also an apron.

Dolls Characters:

Sarah Brown and the Mission Band:  Played by girls:  Black skirt, red blouse and black shoes.

Played by boys:  Black dress pants, red button-down oxford and black shoes.

General Cartwright:  Played by girl:  Black skirt, red blouse and black shoes.

Played by boy:  Black dress pants, red button-down oxford and black shoes.

Adelaide:  Colorful patterned 1930s inspired dress.  Look at included pictures for ideas.

Dolls:  1930s inspired dress.  Again, think colorful and/or patterned OR black skirt and ruffled blouse
