Dateline, Rock and Roll

(links are at bottom of page)

This year the 5th and 6th graders will perform Dateline, Rock and Roll.

The performance will be at 1pm and 6:15 pm on January 23 in the PAC Noble Center.
Costumes will be decade-oriented, similar to what we did last year.
Unless playing a particular part,
  • 5C should dress in 80's clothing
  • 5K in 50's clothing
  • 6M in 70's clothing
  • 6N in 60's clothing.
There will be a smaller group of 6th graders dressing for the song "Rhythm Nation" by Janet Jackson, and you will notice a small group of students from 5K who will need rain jackets for "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head."
Speaking parts and solos will be assigned today to 6th graders.
On the 23rd, students should come to school in the regular school uniform, but bring their costume to change into for the 1pm performance.  The report time for the 6:15 performance will be 5:50.

Program (check back, work in progress)

Some of the 5th and 6th graders are playing in a recorder ensemble in December  for our Lessons And Carols Prayer Service at church.

All 6th Graders can also find "How Sweet is the Garden" at this link for daily practice.  Thanks!

You may need to download in order to play, or using Chrome seems to work.
